Youth Violence Prevention Speech

At A Journey In Our Shoes Foundation, youth violence prevention is at the heart of our mission. We work to reach young people before conflict turns into tragedy. Through mentoring, education, community conversations, school-based presentations, and our Choose Peace curriculum, we teach youth how to make better decisions, walk away from conflict, manage anger, and understand the real consequences of gun violence.

We believe our young people need more than warnings — they need guidance, support, positive role models, and safe spaces where they can be heard. Our goal is to help youth choose peace, value their lives, respect others, and understand that one decision can change a family, a school, and an entire community forever.
